Fraternity Testing

By comparing genetic profiles, it can be determined whether two or more people have a sibling relationship. For an increased rate of certainty of the result, it is recommended to collect some samples from the presumed parents. If the parents’ evidence is not available, the test is performed by comparing the profiles of the siblings, the result being conclusive in this case as well.

Testing is possible even if the siblings have both common parents or only one. The Y chromosome will be analyzed if a sample belonging to the alleged father or other degrees of kinship (direct uncle – direct grandson, direct grandson) is not available.
